Yes, Libby, you are not alone in your attempts to stay healthy. My wife had a flu shot last year, and promptly came down with the flu. She made it quite clear that this year wouldn't see a repeat performance. So, there's charity involved here, don't you know? That's one more shot for someone who needs/wants it.

I'm putting in a few sell orders for Friday. At this point, I don't see a major reversal down, but I think we're overextended. My bullish% reversed down from high levels on Tuesday, and then eased upward again today. When it waffles at high levels it usually means that a good short term (1-2 weeks) top has been put in.

We didn't get tax loss selling this year because there weren't many losses to be taken. But we have lots of capital gains that folks probably wanted to defer to 2004.

BTW, I concur with your thoughts on GERN. IP is very strong there, and it's only a matter of time before the IP gets converted to $$$. But I don't own any shares yet.
