Lazarus, In your childish response I noted your inane attempt at being macho by posting merely the letter "F" to represent a word. A real macho kind of guy and not a pantywaist would merely write...FUCK! It appears though that in your blind interpretation of history and your single mindedness as to reality, you post the following, thereby, supporting my position on the issue. You posted..."why do you want your kids and grand kids to move to a foreign country to work? What the F do you think all those immigrants who founded and built this country were doing?" Lazarus, you and others have labeled me a communist and being unpatriotic, when I'm merely advocating for a person to have a job to provide for his or her family. On the other hand your defend the the removal of such jobs from their opportunity of having such. You post such inane comments that technology is going to change whether I like it or not. Excuse me! I want Americans to have jobs and you merely chastise me with the mantra that change in the workplace will occur. Sure it will change Lazarus, but considering this issue of you being so patriotic and me being so unpatriotic to the American way of life, why is it that you are advocating the demise of the US economy. Would not the total destruction of our economy and advocation for this to happen fall under the banner of being unAmerican for a person to wish for this to happen? Would you like me to take you back to the Greek Empire? Do you think the Lazarus's of that day pontificated that their empire would never fall? Do you think the same of your kind during the Roman Empire stated their adamancy that nothing will happen to their dominant place in the world. Lazuras, what did your kind state during the period of history that those dastardly French control most of the world. Do you think it ever crossed their mind that they would fail to maintain their lofty position? Lazarus, did you miss the classes in which they taught those willing to learn that their was a Great Industrial Revolution that started in Great Britain, and that it eventually migrated to this country. If you would allow, let me continue with this progession of history and a little bit more about this industrial revolution. Ever been to the New England states where this Industrial Revolution migrated from Europe, and have you juxtaposed this northern location of industrial might in this country in relation to the Civil War and why the north was able to defeat the Southern states. Does the light come on with that being the north had all the industry and manufacturing capabilities and the south was merely an agricultural economy. Now Lazarus, go to those same New England states and note all those vacate plants and recognize the fact that they moved eventually to the south for cheap labor. Now read the recent news headlines and note that the venerable manufacture, Levi Strauss, just closed their last North America plant and moved all jobs overseas. Lazarus, you see a continuing pattern in this history lesson that I'm giving you? First Greece, Italy, France, Great Britain and the ensuing demise of their economic wealth and world power. And now we have the same thing happening in the US, the migration of jobs and manufacturing. Come on Lazuras, tell me that the Lazuras of each of these countries didn't have their head buried in the sands of denial that nothing would happen to their GREAT countries dominate position. Surely you wouldn't tell me that it can't happen in this country, when I have already shown you the progression and migration of jobs and manufacturing. New England, Mid-Atlantic, closing of last Levi Strauss plant in San Antonio, Texas in 2003!!! And you tell me that technology isn't going away and that I'm wrong to deny the migration of jobs to India, making ME unAmerican. Lazaurus, I'm telling you that technology isn't going away and I'm also telling you that to bury your head to history isn't going to change what is occurring. I'm merely saying that it is time to stand up for America, but you want history to repeat!!!!
