Both sides indulge their faithfuls' simplistic thinking and mindless sloganeering. Just as the mind-numbing drone of idiocy from the right-wing-talk-radio crowd drives you up a wall, there is a lefty equivalent, which has its profit-hating patter. Both fringes are promoted and publicized by those wanting to hijack the country and carry it back to machine-politics-as-usual. Notice you have the same usual-suspects on both fringes. This is what you don't hear in the Dean campaign. There are others in politics that aren't packaged and programmed, but not many. People are tired of the non-common-sense misinformation designed to coerce rather than inform. Dean speaks in sentences and paragraphs like normal people, so the only way they can hit him is by extracting phony sound bites.
