Karen,
When canada had the mad cow, did that crisis just end when it was proved to be an isolated incident or were there specific actions canada had to take? What really concerns me is now many cows might be on the cusp of being sick when they are slaughtered? And worry #2 is the continued use of most of the meat of cows already sick. NYTimes recommends boneless cuts and hamburger meet ground on the premises. I think that i will be a bit more careful for awhile. Mike
