Let's see- you are cannon fodder living inside an asylum you are unlikely to perceive being fed toxins you are unlikely to detect through multiple paths while being sold medications to resolve some of the symptoms you suffer. You're encouraged to live, love, learn, and be happy, while you engage in producing something of value, so you can collect your legal tender, legal in that taxes can be paid with it, and most other people will accept in exchange for what they produce, as they too have bills (including taxes) to be paid. Quite a madhouse, if one is mad. Or a most unique experience only life on Earth this century can provide, if one likes to 'trip'. Observing as one's brain devolves into swiss cheese.... who needs peyote? Filtering the news flow through swiss cheese, it begins to make sense. There are reasons beyond the educational system Americans are considered by some to be as "dumb as pig dribble". They've endured a massive lifelong lab experiment. Only the official note takers forgot to record the results so future generations could avoid the mistakes of the past. Eventually, perhaps a subset of survivors will have evolved means to counteract the Lethal Dose 1 nature of prion exposure, to filter out methylmercury by products present in the environment, to coexist peacefully and enjoy the garden of eden not quite yet despoiled. For the rest of us, well, savour those simple moments of pleasure when and where you find them. Sow seeds for the future during lucid moments when they occur.
