Another possibility would be a close mirror of the first half of the 2000 market (the last election year). Many are thinking/saying we will see a short term top in January. We may see a sustained advance into March/April before a/the next substantial correction. Then, a bounce into the June/July time frame where the market may put in "the top" for this bull run.

I see this possibility (a March top) is just as likely as the January top scenario. I am very open to both potential plays.
