I know, from personal experience. 40% of the staff at one client was from India before the crash. My brother visited Banglore, and wanted me to set up shop. Etc.

Meanwhile, I find loads of qualified motivated people here, at reasonable wages. I can pay $750 a month for a web programmer in India, plus the overhead, or $750 a week here... Not being a socialist I'd like to make the max profit, but being an American and a realist I can see enough benefits of local supervision to hire the local whenever I can.

Every politician and business leader should challenge business people and consumers to do the same. It's nonsense to say we haven't got the imagination to create profit here in this country.

We used to have a "can do" attitude in this country.
It has been replaced by simple-minded Washington whoremongering.
