It was the great ideal of Mao, Deng Xiaoping and their comrades-in-arms to realize China's modernization, complete reunification of the motherland, and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, Hu said. Hu made these remarks in a keynote speech Friday at a CPC Central Committee workshop in commemoration of the 110th anniversary of Mao's birth.
