The Democrats are panicking because The "Red Dean" runs weakest in the polls against Bush. They say that's the reason he should be stopped.

They've got it backwards: He runs the weakest BECAUSE he's the most likely to get the nomination. They should stick to nominating "anybody but...". That's a loser too, but it limits the damage.

Or, as a sop to the Rump Ranger vote, they could nominate "Anybody's Butt". (Patsy would never be able to tell the difference.)...
