Again, you have changed the discussion from 1936 to 1939. because it suits your argument. Two very different times, when measuring Germany's capabilities. You missing the whole point of preemption before it is too late.

First it was WMDs, then Saddam's brutality (committed against the Iranians and Kurds when we supported Saddam and against the Shias when we left them to be slaughtered after we stirred them up but let Saddam keep his helicopter gun ships after Kuwait) and now absurd comparisons to Germany in the 30s.....the unbelievable BS from the Neocon and Nadine types just keeps going on.
Major General Odom said before the illegal invasion we would end up creating many more "terrorists" to attack all those American dams and stuff Sig says are exposed and we have done so. Btw, they were exposed before we created many new potential attackers of these dams, etc.
Zinni says we had containment (and btw, so did Powell in Jan 2000) and the Neocon types say we would have gotten bored waiting or better yet there is always the "we can't wait because of the hot summers of Iraq and the sweat it will cause our troops".
But we can spend $150 Bn+, get lots of troops killed, maimed and 10,000s of Iraqis killed for what?????.......
Orange alerts???

Ah not too worry.....we are still dumping $Bns in the 21st century Maginot Line in Alaska.
