Hi Karen, Thanks for the article.. I couldn't have said it better, like a few posts ago.. <g>. Re: our expected cheap food and factory farms and how WE ALL will "pay the piper" in the end.. As that old Ad used to say, "Pay me now, or pay me later".. WE as a society has elected to Pay later, with MUCH interest.. Like the Repug way, Borrow, and when it is time to PAY, I hope I'm not here to pick up the tab because I don't care, somebody else can do it. At least us Dems pay as we go, tax and spend is so more morally responsible THAN spend and BORROW.. Because when a society borrows, they PASS the pay back on to someone else. Usually the next generation.. Even to their children, but they don't seem to care.. And that goes for the environment, Use it up now so selfish ME can get it NOW in the moment.. To Hell with tomorrow and my children.. Use all the pesticides and supplements NOW so I can have CHEAP food NOW. Use ALL the easily exploited energy NOW.... To Hell with tomorrow, even if I leave a TOXIC waste land in an over-heated environment. My kids can deal with it, I don't care.. An on and on.. And so goes our society as we blindly race along in a fog of selfishness and ignorance.. m
