Saddam was contained. It was a pain and it had its own cost, but nothing like the enormous costs in American lives, American money and the rule of international law and international institutions that have been wrecked by the Bush Adminsitration. Make excuses for bad policy all you like. It is a free country and for the moment you can cheer on as a bunch of hapless politicians, bureaucrats and ideologues send our young people to their deaths and our tax dollars down the toilet.
