A man with Cuélities.', lol .... all those authors, i can't fully discuss them, never once read from cover to cover a single one of their works [lots of political statements though, and references] ... kept meaning to, but never had the time, or maybe the discipline, kept flitting from one volume to another, and mostly non-fiction at that, reference works like encyclopaedias that list things alfabetically in brief summarised mindbytes .... which may explain the attraction to internet threads -g- García Márquez is a hypocrite .... to have the power to influence through one's fame for ability to detail hypocrisy on one side of an issue, and then studiously refrain from noting it in one's champion on the other, that is blatant hypocrisy in itself .... even at the time of the Padilla incident, he was trying to sway Paz et al towards a softer castro-gation of Fidel, there is a piece on this somewhere on the net, a letter from Paz .... he is a holdout, and could be enormously influential right now, were he to embrace de Soto and denounce, for example in the case of Venezuela, both the old oligarchal system and Chávez quite equally .... time for a Ni-Ni, Algo Nuevo party there, and in a lot of places Reasonable people are going to find allies all over, in any nation, probably the great majority of all societies at most times, in that lies our hope .... a very happy new year to you and your family, carranza, i still don't like it that you had EZ shot, but we need to move on ..... cháu
