If they are here I fight them here. You don't, so speak for yourself.

CHEAP comeback, kennie...BTW, how "relevant", following the same reasoning, are YOU?

Since you're not going to fight them anywhere, your preference is irrelevant.

I haven't retired yet Kenny. Why would you make such a statement? You pretend to know much more than you do. You project images of others, much as you probably see yourself. Marginalized and aging. Sitting on your sofa and feeling irrelevant.

I am empathetic to your situation as I know one day I will likely be in a similar place in the world. I find the aches and pains, the discomforts of middle age amusing, but understand that amusement will far too soon yield to the inevitable. Minimalized or marginalized, however you write it, you feel it more. Being out of the loop hurts.

I get the impression you were once a vital person and are a bit bitter that the sunset of your life leaves little but an old theatre seat, watching the final act of a black and white movie.

I will attempt to grow old, if I am so lucky...gracefully and accept that nothing lasts forever. Until then, I still am in play ;)
