Converting to Islam, hey I'm not gonna do that either.

Regarding "kids" becoming "dopeheads?" When the lure is such that those concerned only with profit seek to make teenagers who'll face only juvenile courts the drug dealers, stronger becomes the possibility that younger people will become involved with drugs as those young people will sell to their peers.

And, again, there is no quality control in the "cut" placed into ilicit drugs. As the drug gets passed on down the line, more "cuts" get added thereby increasing quantity at the sacrifice of quality. The fact is that children are in greater danger under the present criminal justice model than they would be were our nation to adopt an overall public health strategy for dealing with drug problems.

When I was a kid drugs were readily available; as they are today. And, like when I was young, the underground fascination factor still exists. And it is the young male dealer whose got the fancy duds, maybe a hot car, all the CDs, DVDs and tickets to all the rock shows that becomes very attractive to a young woman--especially at the beach!

I grew up at a beach resort, live at one now and I can assure you that no matter how illegal drugs have been that nothing's changed. So why not try something new, something that might actually work instead of promulgating a policy that has proven a decades-long course of failure, making young people into criminals when they are not.

Here's some interesting facts:
