Yes, the man was no democrat, that was for sure ... he shared with Hitler and the zionists a rather complete disregard for the rights of indigenous .... and said as much in clear terms, here is another quote from that article -

Which complexity goes to show, imho, that no human or any small group of humans should every hold unchecked power over others .... and i'm proud of our Lester B Pearson for standing up to him in 1956, in turning back the invasion of Suez ..... WSC said in the 'end of the beginning' speech that he did not intend to preside over the destruction of the empire, well in some cases he was trying in vain to save the wrong facets of it .... a great wartime leader yes, but let us aspire to more than war ....... happy new year, Nadine .... cheers
