Yes, and then there's Egypt. I think the Egyptians would be moderately insulted to hear that "Iraq had the strongest industrial, military and scientific power in the Arab world", except they'd probably consider the source and take the statement for what it's worth. I can sort of understand the pre-war scaremongering from a propaganda point of view, but the post-war retroactive scaremongering is getting sort of weird here. Then there's the recent Godwin's Law orgy, but that's always been a problem here. True believers got to believe, though.
