Thanks, guys. I only saw the highlights. I was working; I did 54 hrs last week, which is a whole lot for somebody who quit their job. The hospital has decided we can have a second person on from 5PM til 1AM, so I'm doing it several shifts a week ( and didn't get out of there until 2:30; surprise, surprise).. They are starting to understand they really screwed the pooch. The nursing supervisors are going crazy trying to find us help behind sick calls and a heavy ventilator load, and we just sit and laugh at them, because we have no bodies to fill the holes. Going about the way I expected. Rat
