Huh? ... is it not pretty clear how i feel about Mugabe? ... and if you haven't heard, maybe you haven't been listening [although come to think of it, my typing on Mugabe would have been some time ago, maybe on threads you don't frequent] .... let me spell it out for you, so there is no mistake - i do not like Mugabe in any way shape or form, to me he is in a class of evil with Polk, Arafat, and Sharon [and - can't forget the Current Thread Rule can we - Hitler] ..... you charge me with evading that, while attempting to paint your indigenous demons du jour as pure Mugabes, geez Nadine this is pretty thin stuff you're handing out tonight .... the mid twentieth century was too late to start up a colony on somebody else's land, i've told you this before but you wouldn't listen, now you're going to have problems, it's going to be an uphill battle unless you can get your ideas production onto a full imperial-time footing Hope you're clear on that now .... as for the british empire, well when i acquired canadian citizenship i automatically became a british subject, that being back before Pee-air 'repatriated' the constitution [without ever telling us the whole story of how it got depatriated], and to this day i feel a rather complete lack of regret on so doing, in fact got an unpleasant surprise one time on landing at Heathrow after losing the status, and having to queue up at the Dogs Aliens And Savage Heathens slot instead of the one marked, not British Subjects, but Domestics or something, can't recall ..... anyway, got pissed right off once this registered, then got a ride into the city with a proper domestic british subject, cockney accent and all, real friendly guy, black as the ace of spades, jamaican or something originally i guess So that's where i sit on the british empire, all things considered, it had its high and low moments and now it's done and many of us including myself are in large measure products of it ..... and i guess we know where you stand on it, after the King David Hotel business, eh .... pity
