This is what they worry about over on "The Democratic Underground" Blog.

Could US have caused the Iran earthquake?

When I heard the news about the earthquake in Iran, the number of people killed, and how Iran is a "rogue nation", it reminded me of something I heard a while back about how we were developing weapons that could cause earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Here's a link to a story on that - thought I'd throw it out there for the conspiracy theorists to chew on. twnside.org.sg

"Perhaps this is an Israeli divide and conquer strategy."
UW,
Hamas is part of the fabric of the west bank in ways the other groups might not be. In a sense, Hamas survival is dependent on Israel. Whether this will ever lead to meetings with Israel or a peace with Israel is doubtful to say the least. But having said that, one never knows when interests of adversaries dove tail. Some israelis have believed at least in the past, that hamas would be easier to deal with than the clown that leads the PA. Mike
