You support the killing of our American boys and the slaughter of innocent Iraqi people women and children on Bush's LIES. Plain and simple. And BTW, I very much doubt you are a "Christian" based on your writings here.

ann-

well... now we're back to the realm of opinions
and speculation -- we differ in that arena and
i won't waste my time trying to change yours
when i can have infinitely more success nurturing
and supporting more fertile ground.

one thing for people to consider when predicting
the outcome of the next election is... that this
movement behind dean is something different than
we've ever seen before in american politics. this
process is NOT about howard dean, the man and his
opinions, it's about a new kind of interactive democracy
in which people at the bottom are included, listened
to, trusted and encouraged to contribute to building
a better, more compassionate, country and world.

dean understands that. he's offering every citizen
an ownership role in america. it's similar to the
business model of southwest airlines, in which the
employees are shareholders... ownership responsibilities
and decision making powers are pushed downward and
outward. it works.

it's how he got the nickname "people powered"
howard. a vote for dean is like a vote for myself...
a vote for a share of self-governance... and a share
of the responsibility for action that comes with it.

a small group of people at the head of an administration
can't inspire the work needed to make this country great
and contribute to a better world unless they sacrifice
some of their own power and ego and push the responsibility
for growth down to the people themselves. i don't know if
you believe in the concept of synergy - but i'm sure you
at least understand the power of collective action that
comes with shared responsibility.

personally, i don't get any sense that the current
administration trusts me with that power...
quite the contrary.

if you want to have success campaigning against
dean, instead of attacking the man, you'll need to
continue to convince the majority of voters that we
and our fellow citizens aren't capable or smart enough
to have an active role in self-governance.

fear and distrust of human nature are your only
allies in that kind of anti-democratic endeavor.
