Democracies don't want to go to war. And that's why there was a year of people here hoping and praying for the war against Iraq to start soon before it actually happened, regurgitating every bit of administration war propaganda they could dig up. Now, the claim from the war cheerleaders is that W and his administration never claimed Iraq was a "direct threat", or an "imminent threat", or some other "facts and logic" rendition of history as seen through the looking glass. Next up: the Nadine lecture on how "war is peace".
