I am expecting a 700 billion dollar deficit if Bush manages to stay in the white house. Bush's biggest problem imho is that the tax receipts are going to underperform estimates, because it is individuals who pay taxes and the workforce is being hollowed out, and Bush is either in denial or too stupid to realize it. I think they actually believe the economy is on fire at the white house. This retail disaster took them by surprise, I am sure of it.
