wow! thanks for posting that, you know I missed the date and as I was reading I realized it was Bush #1. Well, here in California I just witnessed a precursor to the 04 elections with the governor recall. The former governor, Davis, is a sort of Bush-like special interest spending machine. Huge deficits, payouts to cronies, very similar to Bushonomics. The polls predicted a close race but when the actual election came, all the fed up people came out - these are not likely voters - and it was a landslide for the opponent. Rebublicans, in their ignorance assumed this was some sort of mandate on a possible Bush win in California in O4! LOL! Even though Arnold goes against virtually every social policy of the Bush admin, has openly criticized republican conduct and is married to Maria Shriver!! LOL.
