What the agencies of the executive branch knew, and when they knew it, is the one critical investigation being actively stonewalled by Bush.

It is a critical issue to avoiding this in the future.

Bush should be removed for this incompetency/criminality alone.

The tax calculations are a dodge. Middle class Americans would gain more from reversing the Bush taxes and policies back to pre-2001 than leaving them as-is. Local and state taxes are skyrocketing, as are education and medical expenses, all due to new legislation designed specifically for the following purpose, as stated clearly by Norquist,

"Drown the federal gov't in the tub"

... after, of course, looting $10 trillion or more from the middle class and future generations. This is done as directly as possible as a transfer of wealth to the privileged insiders, to minimize the chance for any public services to be provided in the exchange.

That's the belief of many who appreciate an opponent of Bush policies. Dean is the only Bush opponent, the rest are useless jellyfish who should also be thrown out of office at the earliest opportunity, and let some true public servants get a chance.
