We could still reverse outsourcing trend if we focus on using our consumer power to support those American companies not yet offshoring jobs. Did my best to spread the word during Xmas holday by giving copies of Roger Simmermaker's book "How Americans Can Buy American" to family & friends. It's difficult to identify which companies are still American owned. That book contains lists which identify products as U.S. or foreign owned. His website tries to update those lists. You can participate in email protests at www.howamericanscanbuyamerican Latest action is against those American furniture mfgr who are boycotting their fellow companies that have pleaded with U.S. gov to take steps to stop China's dumping of illegal furniture. The links are provided to shoot off quick complaints to the offending businesses.
