Unemployment in GA is also low, at pre-9/11 levels of 4.0%, so perhaps our local governments will see a surge in sales tax revs, too. I think it's just those left coast types that are having a bad Christmas. Of course, to them the whole world sucks, so why would anyone expect them to have a good holiday season?

I read somewhere that Fla. has the lowest unemployment in the country, course, I wouldnt know, I'm a bum. jdn
