Observations:

1. When 70 out of 89 stocks make money in a sector, then you know you are in a bull market. But when you look closer and see the top 36 are all over 100%, then it is a spectacular bull market.

2. Since we are still in the early stages of this PM bull market, don't think stocks like SRLM, NLMC, RUBM, etc. have done their big move and will pull back. They and many on the list will continue to move up big. JMHO

3. I did this to evaluate stocks I have owned in 2003 and how I can reconfigure my PM portfolio to make better gains in 2004. I owned MNMM, APLL, GSS, CAU, WHT, BGO, CDE, EGO, MNG, SSRI, RANGY, GPXM, HL, GLG, CALVF, SIL, VGZ, MAGR, DROOY, and SLGLF in 2003.

4. I am considering new positions in PMU, SRLM, GBN, and USGL. I am considering reestablishing positions in BGO, GSS, WHT, CDE, EGO, SSRI, HL, and CALVF.

5. Should you play the pennies? Yes. The top 10 all were pennies at the end of 2002. 22 out of the top 30 were pennies. But be careful; the bottom 4 and 11 out of the last 19 losers were also pennies at the end of 2002.

6. Many silver stocks achieved significant gains including SRLM, MNMM, WHT, CDE, SSRI, and HL. Consider these in your portfolio. They should continue to do well.

7. You've got to be in it to win it; but trading some and keeping core positions makes alot of sense. When 2004 and this decade are over, this sector will be at the top or near it IMHO.
