llmarinen- what a pleasant surprise. Thankyou. Comics are a very personal and special thing to me. I came as close to getting syndicated as a person can without quite making it. If I had stuck with it for a year more I would have made it. Unfortunitly I got a coldcall asking me to teach and the rest is history. I must say that your post is kind of Karmic. My All Time Favourite is Duncan MacPherson. I would vote for Gary Larson. Calvin, of Calvin and Hobbes used to write his own stuff, but grew up. Miss him. There are too few good cartoonists around. I know a great artist who used to do editorial stuff for the Hogtown Star but is semi-retired now. He has trouble selling his art. I was going to do a web site for him. He has trouble with the concept of displaying it, even as thumbnails, as it gives the product away. EC<:-}
