Bush was technically a deserter after he went AWOL for 13 months in 1972 then let the war end without having to report to Nam. How do you feel about that? Another soldier with GW's birthday died so he could hide out. Ditto Cheney and all the rest. You can criticize Silver Star Winners all you like but your guy was a chickenhawk. Still is, in fact. That's one that sticks with you. Those who fight and die have a right to protest a wrong-headed deceitful war. If the soldiers in Iraq came home and protested not a single American should criticize them. Of course Vietnam was much worse than Iraq (so far) but both were started using lies as justification.
