As American as apple pie, baseball, hotdogs, and George Steinbrenner Yankee Doodle Dandies. American football too, and the Las Vegas glitters. That's why I can see how those fatcat Chinese can be as great or likely to be much bigger capitalists than Americans or westerners. One exception is that they also have high rate of savings (or at least strive) to be financially independent retirees not counting on welfares.

Patiotism!?, of course, to defend the country and the Constitutions. But to defend and pursue the goals and agenda of the judeofascists and the neocons goons? - Defintely not dumb enough to do that.

Similarly, patriotic Americans who respect their president will no doubt think that the current high price of oil/natural-gas is wrong and will shortly be corrected by restoration and expansion of Iraq's oil exports.

Just to set the record straight, not all patriotic Americans respect their president. These two qualities are often mutually exclusive.
