At 16 years, four months, 24 days, Crosby became the youngest player to score in a world junior contest.

"It wasn't even anything I knew until after the game," said Crosby, who plays for the Rimouski Oceanic of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. "I never really think about age, but when they brought that up it was definitely pretty special."

The puck was collected for the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. The previous youngest to score was Eric Lindros in 1990 at 16 years, 10 months.
