windy- Thanks for all of the mental pictures you are sending me of Loreto...they make me smile. "Snow Falling on Cedars"....read it, liked it.The san piedro island mentioned, is actually bainbridge island, directly across from seattle. There were a huge number of Japanese farm families on bainbridge that lost their lands during wwII (Homeland Security?)... May snow in Seattle today. It is just dumping snow in the mountains, I'll be there tomorrow. Stay busy. scoot
