so they are all losers this year? depends on what you own I guess :o) I own (only one driller right now)
finance.yahoo.com on the Canadian side
and finance.yahoo.com on the US side.
I've held some of these for a while especially the trusts. I'm still accumulating one of the little Canuckies. I'm also thinking of some profit taking on the US ones but playing that by ear. The Canadian trusts are pretty well a core position for me and I see BTE.UN as a value play. I'll just leave the trusts in the drawer and buy on dips unless / until I get a stupid silly cap gain which usually prompts me to move on. On the trusts you have other varying degrees of tax (positive) implications if not in registered accounts but the accounting can be tiresome (maybe an understatement :o).
This thread also has some good ideas (PYR came from there in the .50's) Subject 54268

Also depends on your time frame. I have different ones for different purchases. You'll find the same on the Boom Boom Room or Natural Resource thread.. Some trade often some look for under valued....

EDIT depending on what you are looking for this one is also pretty good but less travelled. Subject 3540

Hi Ramsey,

Also on Faber he said basically the same thing on an interview I picked up months ago on ROB-TV (Canucky CNBC I guess) regards
China, corrections and energy... I know you follow BBR .. the posting there also points out China building up their SPR aside from the increasing energy demand.... Also on the Boom Boom room there is some coal discussion which was also talked about on BBR a while back..

I guess part of this whole equation is the future possible growth of China's domestic demand. Will the 900 million some odd folks not participating in the party yet have a positive effect ?

BTW I'm partial to Faber if that colours my view...

regards
Kastel
