Bush cheated to "win" the election four years ago and lost the popular vote. If the Dems put a strong centrist against Bush they will win. Dean would be more iffy. Dean would probably lose. Bush just got a pop in the polls from Saddam's capture but now the war is getting worse again and his deregulation of food and cattle inspections may destroy the ranching industry. Plus no jobs despite the biggest deficit spending in history. You or I could do a better job even if we were trying to screw things up.
