Hawk, what progress have we made. That we had to have a heightened level of alert recently, speaks volumes for our progress on the war on terrorism. It is the Al-Qaeda who has declared on the the US not Saddam.

And you are telling us that the US advised Phillipines to go after one of Osama's buddy (Abu Sayyaf) when it gave up on the chase for Osama in the hills of Afghanistan. Why did Bush give up on chasing Osama at Tora Bora and thereafter? Osama was almost finished and with a little more perseverance and planning with Gen. Musharraf we would have caught those SOBs. Now we have then causing terror alert in the US and attempting to assassinate a US ally in the ware on terrorism, Gen. Musharraf. I don't know how you can call that success when Bush let that chance slip away.
