I am in the middle of some of the most difficult areas in the world, my friend Prince Ali Khan 9the Prince of Raulkhand a defunct state of United India) tells me as we pass through the mighty Khyber Pass that whatever you read in the newspapers the fact is quite opposite, that construction is far more greater than destruction, Ali Khan is putting a clean water plant in Kabul 40 miles north of it rather, the city he says is peaceful and has no sanitation or clean water facility, their is no drainage in a city designed for 1.5 m people caters for 6 m, the story of continuous struggle with daily life is more a problem than terrorism. The under ground water is totally polluted and hence water borne diseases are an immense challenge.

These are forgotten lands form centuries, not that 911 has made these areas as active political volcanic areas with very high seismic activities they were always notoriously detached from global affairs, the connectivity of the world has brought new challenges the cave man of Ghazni had always plotted invasions against the agrarian Brahmins of the south, the raids on Somnath were as bloody and as inhuman as nay humanity can recall but these are forgotten folklore of history, these are lands that time had forgotten, the new 21st century challenges has brought these cave man into the new century he is emboldened b the opportunities, he talks second fires first, with this ferocious character comes the will of ideology that encourages him rewards in the next world the two together becomes an explosive combination. Those short sighted people who think hat Americans have made new enemies since 911 fail to understand the coming of the earth together, far fetched the idea seems to be the fact is that this fusion has its own dynamics. In its chaotic embryo the hope of future is emerging.

The new connected world cannot be two tiered, man had to face its nemesis the cave man and finally 911 has just expedited the fusion of the societies, human cycle has seen these all the time, in these Khyber Pass mountains as the sun sets I can feel reverberations from the past, the hoards of invaders going for the plains of the subcontinent from centuries, they have been pillagers and looters for past hundred of years, from Mongols or Moguls who rules India as Gods of India for centuries the man on the horse back have terrified the agrarians societies the Mongol burning of Baghdad to rich booty’s of Somnath the story of human life has been saga of barbaric actions against peaceful people by the most ferocious of the cave man, finally this long forgotten era of mankind is coming to an end the cave man has no escape as the world beams down a better way of live, a better world full of opportunities the gun makers in Dara can see that their kids have a better future than killing, the killing fields that these lands have seen are now looking for new horizons, the barbaric fringe is now fighting a last ditch battle, I have no doubt that humanity is wining, the destiny of mankind and ability of mankind to grow from ashes is far greater than self destruction. More soon……. Somewhere in distant lands..
