"The WMD issue may have been exagerated and used as a pretext, but the result was benevolent, and riteous."

Just who the F are we to decide what is right and just for the whole FN world?

If we can decide what is right for the world why can't every other country in the whole world do the same.

Did someone appoint Bush god?

Fact is that Governments have been fibbing to their consituents since the beginning of time. WWI was a "fight to bring democracy to the world". Lets be honest wwI was fought because America was owed a crapload of money from England, France, and Russia."Democracy in our time" was the sales pitch. another great example of American "lies" as you call it can be seen in the Americans using the sinking of the Lusitania as a way to enrage the mass of America.. Yet the American govt didnt point out a litlle known fact to Americans. That the luisitania was carying munitions, and therfore was fare game for German boats. Heck we took California and new Mexico and Nevada in 1848 on General Taylors(think it was him) "lie" that Mexicans had raided over the US boarder. Every war has been sold to Americans since the revolution. So I hate to brake it to you, but you are allready the fool. Governments lie, I dont think they should, but in order to sway an apathetic public it is often necessary. I also dont think Bush lied, I think he just gratly exagerated. In any cas I remain a Machevelian at heart.
