Nadine,
I can't agree with that. The more the incursion, the greater the opposition and the greater the future resonance of the left wing anti-zionist and spreading anti-semitic will get. And what of US support both bush and post-bush? The hatred for bush is also seen here in the hatred for israel that will grow over time. Those who say that because the right is winning the security debate right now may not be seeing the larger picture as more and more americans are brainwashed by the type of view we see on kens thread by GST, Win et al.
The camp david/tava line was accepted in some manner by all players and interested bystanders save arafat and the terrorists. Actually it is the new green line and with some modifications also almost agreed to re: land exchanges it becomes the new green line.
And what about the demographic argument? The fewer arabs that are included in Israel with new borders, the better. I am hoping that sharon sees it my way and will redirect the fence for palestine concessions along the way. And the concessions will have to be less than dismantling the terrorist but it could involve making their evil job more difficult. Mike
