The city of Minneapolis floated revenue bonds when they build one of coliseums called the target center. The center was built for basketball and used for entertainment purposes. I am not a bond expert and have no idea if the holders of these bonds will ever get paid. KT is an expert on bonds and could give you information on these type of instruments.

The bond rating of Minnesota was lowered a few months ago. I am sure other state bonds were also downgraded. How about California!!!!!

Raise rates - I bet if Pittsburgh goes to the debt market to pay for survival costs, the rates will be high. <g>
