My margin trading account is up about 90% this year, last year it was about 100%. I have the luck now to have my highest portfolio value with a very high cash position. The only way to keep any money here is too trade.

We have at least two bad draws coming and who knows how the weather will progress.

Thin trading volumes loaded with retail investors home on vacation may be misleading. Next week investors may be ready to lock in profits and wait for cold weather and a good draw.

hey xdog,
what did you buy for coal? i almost bot fdg, but i didn't buy early enough for the yr end dividend. i got peabody in the ipo but sold when the holding period ended for a gain. didn't see anything compelling in the sec filing/prospectus except for long life for reserves.
thanks,
mike

I'm toying with the idea of going short against the box in NBR. Based purely on the chart, mind you, not because I have a handle on the fundamentals of this exasperating sub-sector.
