What nonsense correspondent writes about Saddam starting to talk about France, germany and Russia. I am sure he will have more to say about the US than these countries. I'm sure... He'll probably tell all about how the US sold him Russian military equipment and French nuclear reactors.. And I'm sure he'll eventually tell us how the US was involved in signing all of those French and Russian oil deals.. But now onto Osama. The man who was on the run, the man the Western press propagandized as dying from kidney malfunction etc. etc. back with a vengeance. Where? No one's seen Bin Laden in months.. And we've not even heard his voice on tape recently... Just Zawahiri.. Odds are.. Bin Laden is dead and Zawahiri is trying to perpetuate his mortality until he's able to rally Al-Qaeda around him. I sure do hope that US and UK can by thenselves pull off a victory on the war on terrorism all by themselves. Well, I don't see anything either France or Russia has to offer that would clinch the victory.. So far as I'm concerned they're mainly spoilers and potential antagonists. It is serious business. The near miss on Wolfowitz, the near miss on Paul Bremmer, teo near misses on Gen. Musharraf etc. The first two can hardly be attributed to Al-Qaeda. But the attempt on Musharaff probably can be. And you bet it's serious.. To everyone but folks like yourself who seem to have nothing but criticism without offering any alternative to how YOU would fight this war. You all seem to think you can win it without ever having to kill anyone.. Hawk
