Define what you mean by being "knocked off SI and IE"

If SI is the only window I have open in Internet Explorer, yes, clicking on an incoming SI message number, exits me from both SI and Internet Explorer entirely. It shuts the Internet Explorer browser down. It doesn't exit me from my AOL DSL connection though. If I have other websites open with the Internet Explorer browser as result of having double clicked on the explorer "E" more than once, clicking on the message counter in SI will close that particular open surfing path and the SI window, and revert me to one of the other surfing paths I have open in Internet Explorer.

Regards, Huey
