Over the weekend, the eighteen year old clerk at my local book store felt compelled to inform me that he was working in the Dean campaign. I should have taken the time to use him as a one-man focus group.

You've got another 10 months for that focus group study. :)

I'd love to hear what you find out about what goes on in the mind of an 18 year old. I'm unfortunately out of touch with my niece who just started as a freshman at a major university. I believe she's a Bushie. It would again be relevatory to find out what thought process goes into her decision making. I know her mom has totally disappointed me, in the way that she steadfastly refuses to examine the facts and instead relies on "gut instinct" to tell her that George Bush is a good man. And then, with unconscious irony, accuses me of being too emotional. <gg>

Polls may now show big-time Dean slippage. The attacks and negative media reports have been withering. Wil New Hampshire and Iowa voters wake up and see that Dean is not the candidate we need to beat Bush? If so, surprise, Kerry and Gephardt could both beat Dean in Iowa, then Kerry's momentum could sweep him into a very close race in NH. It is possible he could even win. Wouldn't that be something?

If Dean can't take the heat in the kitchen now just wait until Karl Rove's $200 million spin machine goes after the official Democratic Nominee...it won't be pretty...The GOP will play hard ball and use almost any means to brainwash the masses and maintain power.
