I agree that dems in the 70s were tax and spend machines and repubs were superior, but now the shoe is on the other foot. Repubs have become corrupt, and dems are the much cleaner party.

I got news for you- BUSH has created the need for a misery index, he and he alone. There was no misery index in the 90s as you are aware. And the yuan will be floated in the next presidential term, which means that if Bush is in power, he will have to deal with stagflation- I doubt very seriously he can handle it. The Bush white house gave us the "stag" - meaning a lethargic jobless economy in this term but he has avoided the "flation". Not next time.

This misery index which is present all over the country is why I think he has a tough time winning in 04.
