Ann, your analysis is something I agree with. But I would suggest that the US should start to work with the other world powers. Not be too quick to start a war, not be too quick to declare victory. There is a unravelling political disaster between the US and the world again with Libya. Let us wait and see. YOu talked about a Democrat in the White House. Instead how about the "axis of terror" (Cheney/Rumsfeld/Wolfowitz) out of the WH with Bush and Colin and Condy Rice left to be in charge. I don't see anything wrong with that. Do you?
