It usually tops out when the database reaches 85 percent or more sells. The precedence for which set is most important seems to be the broad market, or universe of stocks, then the S&P 500, and then the rest of the market indices. It reached extremes in early December as well. Many stocks in the Nasdaq sold off, but the Dow failed to confirm (eg., Price Phase continued rising).
