How can we have a policy if you dismiss the government in power, the loyal opposition and anyone would dare use military force to defend ourselves.

I think that's the confusion.
Somehow you've bought into the idea that those opposed to Bush are opposed to having a strong military, or that US military is somehow not the most capable in history of the world.

I don't dismiss the gov't in power, just the criminals that hide behind unaccountability. Sunshine is the best disinfectant, and would flush out the cockroaches and straighten out foreign policy, rife with corruption in Washington.

The ability to use military force is important. The credible deterrance is from having it, and not needing to use it, not from using it under false pretenses. That just weakens US profile to enemies, and the world in general.
