Tax related profit taking... Funny that eager sellers should hit the miners and energy stocks where the fundamentals are improving at least in terms of their respective commodity quotes, and there doesn't seem to be much profit taking in general equities where the fundamental backdrop is getting less rosey, if the economic numbers released today mean anything. Not so much fun today for the kid, with big hits taken in OMNI and to a lesser degree in ROYL, and even some miners of mine were clocked...GBN was off nearly 5% on a day Gold makes a 14 year high or some such.... Oh well.... Happy New Year and all that....
