What about energy (gas and oil) and gold (in that order)?

GD

Gold is about to enter its seasonally slow period.
I am out of most miners scaling out yesterday and today and down to a minimal core position. I am out of all silver futures and spreads as of today and all but one gold spread.

Russ is pretty big on energy I think. The movement is huge in NG futures and the only way I would play NG is with a bull or bear spread. I want to buy oil calls or spreads if it can get down towards the lower end of its range.

Russ posted some energy stocks earlier and I do not know enough about them to comment. Perhaps he will chime in with energy plays he likes. NG is a local thing, so in general, I prefer oil as it is global.

My #1 play remains short OTM eurodollar puts.
